We are currently recruiting a Communications and Advocacy Manager
£32,500 pro-rata plus a generous pension contribution
Hours - 26 hours per week, part-time, permanent
Do you value beautiful places? Can you inspire others to care for landscape and nature? Are you a creative self-starter with real desire to collaborate and support a national network?
In addition, do you have an in-depth understanding of policymaking, politics and the environment in which the National Association for AONBs operates? Do you have the confidence to represent us externally, with other non-governmental organisations, parliamentarians, Government officials and Ministers?
As an experienced communications professional, you will help us develop a strategic approach to our communications, and support the AONB Family to communicate collaboratively. This is a challenging and exciting role that requires someone who is confident dealing with the highest levels of government as well as communicating effectively within a supportive network.
If you are a team player with strong leadership skills, loads of enthusiasm, great advocacy and communication skills, and are passionate about the natural environment, this could be the role for you.
We are homeworking by design and believe that it is our responsibility to contribute to sustainability goals by limiting travel.
