Wye Valley AONB Partnership – Lead Officer

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience working in outstanding landscapes, nearly 20 managing the WyeValley AONB, straddling the English Welsh border. This gives him a unique perspective on cross-border politics and landscape-scale management. He is proficient at transnational partnerships, banging heads together and implementing unifying strategic plans & projects, having written, consulted on and delivered 3 statutory AONB Management Plans. Andrew is used to operating at a Wales and UK level, and was a lead collaborator in the Welsh Government’s Review of Designated Landscapes in Wales, including being on the Minister’s drafting group for ‘Future Landscapes: Delivering for Wales’.
